The photo album ‘TU OBYWATELE!’ (HERE ARE THE CITIZENS!) covers two years of civic counter-anniversaries – persistent, peaceful protests conducted in the name of dignity and freedom, with unprecedented involvement from members of opposition organisations: Obywatele RP (Citizens of the Republic of Poland), OSA, TAMA and many others, captured in photographs and accompanied by comments from street opposition leaders and participants in these events.

Over 260 high-quality photographs collected in one album documenting the effective and planned resistance of a small group of citizens against an authoritarian regime modelled on post-Soviet systems of power. The subject of protests during the Smolensk monthly commemorations has always been controversial, but also of widespread interest. Until now, there has been no comprehensive coverage of this topic, and the album meets this need.
