The book is a polyphonic construction of our recent history, where protagonists and witnesses converge with the photographer in a chorus that seems to disarrange the chronology of events known to all, which becomes harmonious, because it has the tone, the volume and the audacity to show how we took our city from the dominion of terror, dictatorship, hunger, eviction, the violence of the oppressive state, in a symphony that is repeated from time to time in our recent and not so recent history. Perhaps that is why, as we turn through these pages, we have the feeling that we would not be surprised to come across a photograph of a schoolboy glaring at the bars of his high school in 2011 or jumping over a turnstile in 2019. The threads that seem invisible in Kena Lorenzini's photographs are not, the links, the networks that are being woven, become visible in the women who yesterday, today and tomorrow, fought - are fighting - will fight against terror, in this book are contained those who were, those who are and those who will be in these struggles and in those to come, which are the struggles of all of us.
