We hope that the pages of this book will be the final portrait of the walls of Caracas. We want clean walls for our city, but we also want readers to discover, behind the graffiti, the versatility and creative talent of our people in general and our young people in particular.

I don't know how long we will observe these signs that we see on those bulky walls and buildings that will no longer speak of the discomfort of love and the aggression of narrow-minded people, of sometimes incomplete young people who take on the task of challenging the enemy, the “spray”. I wanted to copy some of those signs so that they would remain as a testimony to an uncertain future, since a certain municipal ordinance stipulates that the walls must be painted.
