“No to the paranoid project of blaming desiring intelligence.” This is one of the slogans written on the walls of Bologna’s DAMS (Drama, Art and Music Studies) department, photographed by Enrico Scuro in 1977 during the university occupation.

This image inspired “No al progetto” (No to the project), a tribute to the work that the student photographer dedicated to the daily life of the 1977 Movement in Bologna.

Conceived as a fanzine, edited by Matteo Di Castro and printed in 77 copies, this album brings together the shots taken in just over two weeks, particularly those in which Scuro reflects the most creative and performative aspects of that experience: graffiti, murals and face painting, masks and disguises.
