This book, published the following year, is a collection of his work concerning “Matsukawa Incident,” which is said to be one of “Three Mysterious Accidents of Japan's National Railways” after the war. A train is derailed due to intentional tampering with the rails. Three crew members died when the train overturned, and the people who had been reassigned by JNR and Toshiba were accused of being the culprits who had tampered with the rails. However, after repeated trials, the final verdict was “not guilty,” resulting in what has been called “the biggest case of false accusation in history,” and has raised many questions around the world. The author summarized in this book what he has been dealing with for several years, and according to Domon, "This is why I have been supporting the realist movement in photography for the past 10 years.
