Comrades, the 1977 movement in Palermo is a book published in May 1978 by the “Cooperativa Editoriale Cento Fiori” of the “Centro Siciliano di Documentazione” directed by Umberto Santino.
It is not a book of reflections but rather a collection of documents on that movement, “born from the needs of some comrades who fought in the struggles of '77 in Palermo,” as stated in the introduction; and “not all aspects, voices, and components are represented” in it, a representation that is “in all likelihood partial and incomplete”: this is certainly the case for the large geographical component represented by the comrades of Prizzi, who even gave themselves a name, “Collettivo di via Matteo Bonello” (Matteo Bonello Street Collective).
