Grandma’s Not Shovel-Ready is a compilation book of the best signs at conservative rallies over the past year. I must say I was truly amused after flipping through the book. The book shows Americans exercising one of their Constitutional rights. That’s nothing to be ashamed of.

From looking at this small book, one can easily see the tea party movement of 2009 was something pretty amazing. American people from all around the country were more than displeased with the job the government was doing. They decided to speak out on behalf of themselves and the next generation. To me, that’s what being an American is all about.

What I really love about this book is the same thing the publisher loves: the creativity of the American people (I met the publisher, Colin Hanna, at the conference so I’m able to say this.) If you do decide to pick up this book I promise you it will not disappoint. The posters took honest creativity and heart. They got right to the point and said what they wanted to say without shame. Many of them are just hilarious.
