A feminist photobook about the historical memory of Colombia.

Alexa Rochi stopped being a FARC fighter and became a photographer who many want to listen to. She is originally from the Cauca Valley, more specifically Tulua.

One day she decided to go into the mountains to join the FARC guerrillas in the Yarí Plains. After the death of her mother, the group became her family.

During the war she was a nurse and a fighter, but one day chance gave her a camera and a friend named Liliana shared with her the basics of this profession: witnessing in pictures what happens before our eyes.

From that moment until today, she has had to fire many shots. First as a combatant with a rifle, and now, in what they call “civilian life,” with a camera that has captured him for several moments, including working at the Colombian Senate Press Office.
