This book document, was born one evening in the Falls Road neighborhood, in a house of Catholics.
Invited to document their drama, I recorded testimonies of tragic episodes, I saw the terror, the despair, the anguish, I lived with them an experience of struggle, sharing long hours of waiting, of a painful and endless wait. I have kept my promise to contribute to their cause by publishing a document they entrusted to me, on the English repression, together with the images of their struggle that I took, contrasted with those of the selfish welfare of the Protestants. I will not forget the vibrant humanity that animates the Irish Catholic community, nor their enthusiasm and defiance in the struggle for the conquest of civil rights,
their strength to continue even in impossible conditions. "Take pictures, take pictures", photograph us the children shouted to me from the rooftops; tell the Italians how their catholic brothers are fighting.
