The photographs have been selected from a large number taken in the course of three trips to the battlefront in southwestern Iran between November 1980 and February 1981. When the prints were arranged in sequence we noticed that they speak for themselves and that captions would be really redundant. Isn't a photo supposed to be worth a thousand words? So a single caption - Abadan, Nov.80-Feb.81 -should suffice.
