By chance I found this book on a booth in Rivadavia park in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was looking for a book that talked about the dictatorship of 1976 and fortunately I found this important book so particular and interesting from many points of view. First of all this book, as often happens, leads us to the dichotomy between protest and propaganda, in fact the book talks about the protest of the Tucuman Region conducted in the period 1975-1977 by the so-called "terrorists" by the dictatorship of General Videla. Many things lead us to reflect on the way in which the Government used this book as propaganda: 1.considering the period, 1977, it is unusual that was used only the English language, probably this book is aimed only at a foreign audience rather than within , 2.very interesting the design with colors and arrows messages for a more popular stage, 3.I would say that is fantastic the use of the gold color for the final section called - Tucuman today-. Today, with so many facts known, it is difficult to see such images, as when Videla shakes hands, and at the same time some people have been thrown into the ocean by plane.
