Rodrigo Moya's work was little known until a few years ago. His premature retirement from photojournalism at the end of 1967 and the author's lack of prominence to position his work in agencies, museums, galleries and other artistic and commercial circuits contributed to this oblivion.
The recovery of his work began at the end of the 20th century and covered several fronts.
In this research, curator Alberto del Castillo Troncoso wants to pursue and deepen a critical evaluation of Moya's work through an analysis of the political and cultural contexts, as well as the editorial projects that hosted and gave significance to his work in the 1950s and 1960s.
