This book is the brainchild of Editor La Pietra, who commissioned photographer Paolo Zappaterra to travel to Greece in 1968 to capture the image of the country during the period when a junta of Colonels came to power. Zappaterra returned with these images and a number of leaflets that testify to the tension taking place in the country , these are clandestine sheets from parties and other organizations, as well as posters that Greek exiles and committees of solidarity with democratic Greece are producing in various parts of the world.
