This album portrays, through photographs of various mural inscriptions, "a living reflection of our political consciousness, of our non-conformism, of our yearning for freedom in the midst of oppression". The slogans and paintings included in this volume were photographed by José Marques, that was more focused on graffiti than protester, between May and June 1974, in Lisbon, a period in which there was an exponential increase in this practice. "They remain there with their lyricism, their aggressiveness, their hope, their naivety, their hatred, their humour, their revolutionary firmness".
